The Coal Creek Cowboys are Utah's newest Cowboy Action Shooting (CAS) club. We're extremely proud and excited to bring this thrilling sport to Cedar City, Iron County, and southern Utah.

Please ... come join us as we play Cowboy! We hold our Matches every 3rd and 5th Saturday at the Iron County Shooting Facility (seasonal conditions permitting). The shooting starts at 7:30 a.m. with the various CAS side matches: .22 pistol and rifle; Plainsman; derringer; pocket pistol, a number of different long range events, and; the speed events for shotgun, rifle and pistol.

The Main Match begins at 9:00 a.m. and will typically consist of 6 "stages," or shooting scenarios, followed by a potluck lunch while we're waiting for the scores to be tabulated and the awards to be given to deserving cowboys and cowgirls.

It's a family affair! We have shooting categories for every age of Cowboy and Cowgirl ... from 10 to 110! Don't have the equipment? Don't worry ... come on out to the Match and enjoy the day. Our members live the Cowboy Way and will usually be more than happy to loan you what you need to try out the sport, or even compete until you are able to get fully equipped.
